Advocacy-in-Practice

with Coach Annie

Hi!  I’m Annie Kuensting— founder of Beacon Empowerment, leadership coach & consultant, DEI practitioner, and a woman who believes advocacy starts with honest reflection and courageous action. I care deeply about helping white women move from “I care about this” to “I’m actively doing something about this.”

My work sits at the intersection of alignment, racial equity, and systems change. I support women in untangling the messages we’ve inherited about power, voice, and responsibility — and in getting clear on what’s actually ours to do in the work of justice. Not from guilt. Not from performative urgency. But from grounded commitment and grace.

In RAARE spaces, I show up as a guide and catalyst for white women committed to advocacy — asking real questions, naming hard truths, and helping translate awareness into advocacy. I believe white women have a critical role to play in racial equity work, and when we’re aligned, accountable, and in community, our advocacy becomes more sustainable — and more powerful.

In these coaching sessions, you’ll learn, practice, and grow.

Here's a little more information about the monthly calls!
What is required for impactful and transformational advocacy work that is beyond call-outs and clap backs.

  • What is Advocacy- In-Practice?

These bi-monthly coaching calls are a supportive space for women in the RAARE Woman Collective to bring real-life challenges, questions, and experiences from their racial equity work. Through intentional coaching, reflection, and peer connection, we’ll explore how to navigate difficult conversations with more confidence, clarity, and alignment—helping you act with integrity and impact in your home, workplace, and community. Together we’ll deepen understanding, strengthen skills, and build practical strategies for advancing racial equity with grace and purpose.

  • What to Expect
You can expect a safe environment that allows for honesty, vulnerability, and community. You can expect to ask questions about challenges, frustrations, or confusions in your advocacy work to better support you and the work you're doing. Since Annie's background is in education, you can expect aspects of both teaching and coaching. Everything discussed will be "in the moment" topics. You can expect to walk away feeling inspired, clear, and empowered.

  • Are All Topics Welcome?
