Advocacy in Action

is a 5-week virtual program for individuals who are ready to grow as racial equity advocates—grounded in compassion, not guilt. Led by DEIB coach Annie Kuensting, this journey is for those who want to develop sustainable, grace-centered advocacy practices that drive real change in their communities, workplaces, and relationships.

What You Will Learn

Week 1 – The Foundations of Grace-Centered Advocacy
 Define what grace-centered advocacy is and discover your personal "why" in this work.

Week 2 – Cultivating an Empowered Mindset
 Build the internal strength and resilience to stay in difficult equity conversations.

Week 3 – Speaking from the Heart
 Communicate with authenticity and impact using transformative, story-based techniques.

Week 4 – Nonviolent Communication in Action
 Apply NVC principles to advocate with clarity, compassion, and accountability.

Week 5 – Navigating Discomfort & Building a Sustainable Practice
 Learn how to manage conflict, receive feedback with grace, and build your personal advocacy plan.

Who This is For..

Advocacy in Action is designed for inclined white women who care deeply about racial equity and want to grow as advocates — not with shame, but with grace, purpose, and clarity.

  • You’re a coach, therapist, educator, DEIB leader, or nonprofit professional who believes in equity but wants a more grounded, graceful way to lead this work.

  • You’re someone who has read the books, listened to the podcasts, attended the trainings — but you're still asking: “How do I show up in real life without causing more harm?”

Advocacy in Action is a powerful, grace-centered program — but it’s not for everyone.

This is not for you if:

  • You are looking for basic 101 education on racism, white privilege, or allyship. (This is next-level work for those already leaning in.)

  • You are unwilling to reflect, receive feedback, or consider new perspectives on how you show up in the work.

  • You believe racial equity is just a personal belief system, not something that requires ongoing action, skill-building, and accountability.

  • You are seeking a debate space or a place to "prove you're right."

You are not open to humility, discomfort, or emotional self-regulation as part of growth.
